It was an impressive first outing for Dominick Zator as his short-term loan with Swedish second-tier side Vasalunds IF properly got underway over the weekend.

Starting on the right side of a back-three in a pre-season friendly against historical heavyweights and 2019 Swedish champions Djurgardens IF, the recent York United FC acquisition was an assured presence on his debut.

The 26-year-old even played a hand in the side's opening goal, as his delivery into the right channel wasn't properly defended by the hosts and Ibrahim El Mezouak pounced on a weak back-pass to score after just three minutes. In the second half, Vasalunds conjured a second courtesy of Takuto Yasuoka and held out to pick up another eye-catching win, eight days after beating AIK by the same scoreline at the country's national stadium.
