Toronto, ON (June 1, 2021) – York United Football Club can confirm defender Dominick Zator and winger Nicholas Hamilton have returned to the club following their recent loan spells in Sweden and Scotland respectively.

Zator arrived at Swedish second-tier side Vasalunds IF in February and after featuring prominently throughout a busy pre-season schedule, he subsequently enjoyed an impressive league stint once the campaign began in mid-April. Overall, he appeared in five of the team's nine Superettan fixtures so far and racked up 239 minutes of competitive action. Fittingly, in his final outing against Osters, Vasalunds kept a clean sheet in a 1-0 win.

“This has been a great experience for both players," says York United FC CEO/President & GM, Angus McNab.

"Dom has gotten significant minutes and been working hard when he’d otherwise have been shut down and unable to train. From chatting to him regularly, I know that he loved his time at Vasalunds and it was fantastic he could play 90 minutes and sign off with a clean sheet in his final appearance.”
