Rubbing shoulders with a collection of experienced names like Jonathan Osorio, Richie Laryea and Dayne St. Clair, the teenager never looked out of place once he arrived at the BMO Training Ground in Toronto and he impressed the technical staff with his skillset and technical maturity.

"He shows some real cleverness on the ball at times, some explosiveness in the way he plays. But also intelligence, in that when I try to give him little things to be thinking about, he’s able to apply them quickly," Marsch told reporters last week.

"For a 16-year-old that’s a really good sign."

Midfielder Samuel Piette echoed those sentiments about the Brampton, Ont native.

"He’s got massive potential," he said.

"Obviously [he's] really young but that’s football nowadays. Players are getting younger and younger and better and better."

Following his stint with the senior group, Jimoh now turns his attention to the Canada Under-17 squad and their upcoming friendlies against Costa Rica and Mexico.

Canada will play Costa Rica on Friday, 15 November and Mexico on Monday, 18 November.

Even in the off-season, the hard works continues for the small kid with the huge potential.
