York United FC will start and end the 2024 Canadian Premier League season with road trips, though they can count on four home games from their final six fixtures.

The details were included in today's official unveiling of the full schedule, presented by WestJet.

The campaign begins with a provincial derby at Ottawa's TD Place Stadium on Saturday, 13 April with a 1pm kick-off: the official curtain-raiser for the new CPL season.

The following weekend, it's another derby and this time on home soil. Bitter local rivals Forge FC come to York Lions Stadium on Sunday, April 21 at 4pm, while it's a quick turnaround as Martin Nash's side then host Vancouver FC on Friday, 26 April at 7pm.

Friday night lights will be a common theme at York Lions Stadium this year, with eight home fixtures pencilled in for that time-slot. Elsewhere, Labour Day weekend will be spent in Halifax for a Monday clash with the Wanderers while The Nine Stripes' final home game for 2024 will be Thursday, 10 October when Pacific FC come to town.
